Process
How a partnership runs.
Every partnership follows the same four stages. The pace varies with scope and how much of your content is ready, but the order does not change - and nothing is built before the concept and the commercial terms are agreed in writing.
At no stage do you pay for any of it. TrainStack funds the build and the running of the app; the first money that changes hands is a member subscribing to you.
From first conversation to live subscriptions.
Stage 01: Define the concept
We understand your audience, training method, content, pricing, and launch goals.
We start with the audience you already have: who follows you, what they ask for, and what they have paid for before.
From there we shape the product with you - the training method it teaches, the programs it opens with, the plan structure and the price points. Our job is to tell you what we have seen work; the final call on what your members are charged is yours.
You leave this stage with a written product definition and a commercial structure, both agreed before any build work begins. Nothing is invoiced to you at this stage, or at any stage after it.
Stage 02: Build the experience
TrainStack prepares the branded app, subscription flow, content structure, and launch assets.
We design and build the app around your identity: naming, icon, typography, colour, imagery and the way the product speaks. TrainStack carries the full cost of this stage - design, engineering, store setup and everything in between.
Your programs and exercise library are structured inside the product, your pricing and plan structure are set up in the billing system, and store listings are prepared for review.
You review the product before launch and we work through your notes. Nothing goes to your audience until you have signed it off.
Stage 03: Launch to your audience
You introduce the app through your channels using a coordinated launch campaign.
We agree a launch window and prepare what you need to run it: announcement assets, link structure, offer mechanics and a content sequence you are comfortable delivering.
You introduce the product in your own voice, across the channels where your audience already pays attention.
We monitor sign-ups, trials and technical performance through the launch period and respond quickly if anything needs attention.
Stage 04: Grow subscription revenue
We operate and improve the product while both sides earn from active subscriptions.
TrainStack keeps the product running: hosting, maintenance, store releases, billing operations and technical support. None of it is billed to you.
You keep publishing training and you keep control of pricing, promotions and what gets released when. We review retention, conversion and completion together, and prioritise product improvements against what the numbers show.
Both sides are paid from the same active subscriptions and from nothing else. We start earning at the moment your app starts earning for you - which is why the work after launch matters as much as the launch itself.
What to have ready.
01
Your training method, in writing
A page is enough. What you teach, who it is for, and how a member progresses over eight to twelve weeks.
02
Programs you already run
Existing plans, challenges or coaching templates - even in spreadsheets. Structure matters more than polish.
03
Exercise demonstrations
What you have filmed already, and what would need filming. We will tell you what is missing.
04
Audience numbers you trust
Engagement, story views, email list size, past launch results. Real figures lead to a realistic plan.
05
What you have sold before
Prices, conversion, refunds, what worked and what did not. You decide the subscription price; this is what we would advise against.
06
A launch window
A period where you can promote consistently for several weeks without a competing commitment.
Six questions.
If your application fits, we will arrange a call. It is a working conversation, not a sales pitch - by the end we both know whether there is a product worth building.
- 01Who your audience is and what they ask you for most often
- 02What your training method does differently
- 03What you have sold before, at what price, and what you would want to charge
- 04How often you can promote the product after launch
- 05What content exists today and what would need to be produced
- 06What a successful first year would look like to you
Ready to see whether it fits?
Tell us about your audience and what you would want to build. If there is a strong match, we will take it to a first conversation. Nothing at any stage costs you money.
Partnerships are selective and subject to audience, brand, content, and commercial fit.
